Dublin’s population is about 47,000 (per CA Dept. of Finance 2008). It is one of the fastest growing cities in Alameda County for the past several years.

It is about 25 min (19 miles) from Oakland International Airport, and 40 minutes ( 37 miles) from San Francisco International Airport (SFO). 41 minutes (30 miles) from Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport.

You may take BART to SFO (1 hour 40 minutes $10.55 vs. $21.47 driving!) or Oakland International Airport(1 hour 20 min, Air Bus partially) from Dublin/Pleasanton station.

It was named after the city of Dublin in Ireland and it is famous for its annual St. Patrick’s Day parade.
